Growing Collective's Seed Share

The 2024 Seed Share, hosted by Farmshed's Growing Collective, will take place in the Pinery Room of the Portage County Public Library on February 17th from 2-3:30pm.
This event, which is free & open to the public, will have a large selection of garden seeds (vegetable, flowers, native plants, etc)- with some organic, heirloom and unique varieties available.
You do not need to bring seeds to participate (there are 100's of seed packets to give away!) but if you would like to bring some to swap please follow these instructions:
Bring seeds in a packet (type of packet is your choice) labeled with at least type, variety, year and source. For example: Sweet Pepper, Carmen, 2023, Fedco. Include as much optional info as you like. A copy of the original seed packet is great too! Please drop off the seeds at the event between 1:30-2pm and be prepared to leave the seeds you brought.
A limited number of seed bags for you to collect and take seeds home will be available but please bring your own if you are able.
This is also a great event to attend if you are interested in learning more about the Growing Collective or becoming a member.
