Farmshed’s Adding Value to Your Farm workshop is hosted by Joel Kuehnhold of Lonely Oak Farm in Milladore and Kat Becker and Tony Schultz of Stoney Acres Farm in Athens. Both farms feature commercial kitchens and have entered into endeavors that add-value to what they grow and raise (think of feasting on brunch or homegrown pizza where the majority of ingredients were grown on the farm). In addition to those amazing feats, both farms are solar powered.

- Making your farm “public ready” thinking about parking, signage, insurance
and customer service - Good (or even better) alternatives to building a commercial kitchen
- Adding value vs adding processing – what is the difference and how do you
assess it - Basic supplies and technology for on farm food service
- Building current farm ventures alongside value added businesses.
