2017 Winter Drive

Thank You Winter Drive Supporters

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2017 Winter Drive Fundraiser. Words can only begin to express what It means to us that there is so much support in our community and network for Farmshed’s mission and vision.

We kicked of the campaign with a great start on Giving Tuesday. Though the peer-to-peer started slow,  as the final weeks and days rolled by we were so touched and excited to watch the momentum rise and see the support our network is so generously willing to share and invest in the work that Farmshed does.

We are thrilled to report that collectively we met our goal of raising $20,000! 12 members set fundraising goals and 139 donations were made towards our overall goal of $20,000. The average donation amount was $144.

To the members who set (and exceeded) goals and encouraged your friends and family to support us, thank you for your continued dedication in perpetuating the growth of the local food network. To all of the donors, thank you for joining us in our collective goal of building our sustainable, local food economy and for supporting our many programs that make that vision a reality.

Additional thanks to the donors who contributed matches that helped drive the campaign to success, Laura Schade for designing beautiful images to use in social media and emails, Barb Brewster and Mary Grossnickle for all of your efforts to raise and keep the momentum, and Becky Veldhoff for you assistance keeping our numbers up to date and work crafting messages and acknowledgements.

Tax receipts for your donations are accessible depending on how you donated.
