Farmshed's Food Box Donation Program

Farmshed’s Food Box Donation Program

Food sourced seasonally provides greater nourishment and builds a stronger community. At Farmshed we strive to partner with local food pantries to ensure all families in our community can enjoy the health benefits of locally sourced food.

Farmshed’s boxes contain over a week’s worth of fresh produce and other items produced with local ingredients, grown by our family and cooperatively-owned farm partners. Farmshed’s food pantry partners include the Portage County Hunger and Poverty Prevention Partnership’s Mobile Pantry, Interfaith Food Pantry, and the Community Thrift Store.

The Mobile Pantry operates monthly, serving families in rural Portage County who often lack reliable transportation. Interfaith Food Pantry in Plover operates the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, and the Community Thrift Store’s Food Pantry, in Stevens Point, is open every Tuesday.

We are a community that thrives on locally grown food produced in ways that are good for our health and the health of our land, water, and air
