Central Rivers Farmshed

We organize events, programs, workshops and resources that help support a local food economy.

Mark you calendars for the Hands-On Beekeeping Workshop with Buzz Vahradian! At the farm, participants will be able to a tour the farm, learn about management, see the inside of the hive & honey house, and see the queens, eggs, & larvae.

The cost is $45 for members and $50 for non-members. Register here.

We also have a full or partial scholarships you can apply for here.

If it is raining on Saturday 9/3, we will reschedule the workshop to Monday 9/5 (Labor Day).

Please dress for the weather! Bring a bee suit if you have one or can borrow one, but this is not required. Particpants wearing bee suits will be able to get a closer look at the bees. Please be aware that you will be spending some time in the honey house which can be very warm inside. We recommend dressing in layers, so you can be comfortable in all conditions!
