Central Rivers Farmshed

We organize events, programs, workshops and resources that help support a local food economy.

Everyone wants free food, but how willing are you to go out there and find it? If you’re the adventurous type or are interested in what nature can freely give us this workshop is for you! Andy Lickel is passionate about homesteading and foraging. Once a month during the summer he and his family make a meal solely out of foraged items.

This workshop will include an indoor lecture about foraging and then we will go out to a park and see what we can scrounge up! This workshop will get you familiar with wild edibles and how/where to find them!
