Central Rivers Farmshed

We organize events, programs, workshops and resources that help support a local food economy.

Is your garden overflowing with so much produce that you don’t know what to do with it all? Ever heard canning is easy but yet you never tried it out? Michelle has had 20+ years of canning experience and is eager to share her knowledge with anyone who is willing to come and learn! Together we will learn the basics of canning while making Low Sodium Sweet Dill Pickles. Everyone gets to take home a can of pickles, the recipe, and will be entered into a raffle to win the Ball Jar’s Blue Book Guide to Preserving! Don’t hesitate any longer and learn to be a Can Do Canner!

Instructor: Michelle Shulfer
Fee: $30 for non-members // $25 for members
*** Full or part scholarships are available for Farmshed workshops. Please ask at time of registration if you would like to be considered. Workshop scholarships are of limited quantity.
