Beekeeping with Buzz Vahradian of V’s Bees

Saturday, March 21st, 2015 from 9am to 2pm

Buzz (seriously, that’s his name!) will teach participants the fundamentals of beekeeping; providing a thorough overview for beginners with an interest in starting a hive and others just fascinated with the lives of these super organisms. 

Participants will learn about:

  • Honey Bee Biology
  • When and Where to Get Bees
  • Proper Equipment
  • Colony management
  • Diseases and Pests
  • Honey Harvest and Extraction
  • Properties of Honey

Cost of the workshop: $50 or 40 for members

As for payment, you can send in a check, or make the payment online on our website (as a “donation” and we will apply it as your course fee).  The check can be made payable to Central Rivers Farmshed and mailed to 1220 Briggs Ct Stevens Point 54481.
