Workshop: From Maple to Syrup

Date: 2/18/16 at 6pm

Jay Gordon of Jay’s Hilltop Sugarhouse will help participants explore the magic of maple syrup production.

Attendees will learn how to:

  • Navigate the weather changes ideal for sugaring
  • Identify and tap maple trees
  • Lessen the impacts of tree-tapping
  • Find their basic equipment needs
  • Boil down sap to make syrup
  • Understand syrup grades
