Central Rivers Farmshed

We organize events, programs, workshops and resources that help support a local food economy.

The Local Food Fair is Farmshed’s premier outreach event, bringing together producers, consumers, local businesses, and educators to celebrate community and the food that’s grown within it. Come one, come all to the region’s largest local food celebration!

THE FOOD & CHEF COMPETITION:
Local Chefs try their hand at creating a one of a kind potato dish unique to their style along with a friendly competition to see whose dish is best with more points for using local ingredients.

The Farm to Fork Chef Competition runs from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm (or sell out). Guests can purchase chef dishes for $3 each. A basic potato bar is also available from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm for $3.

INFO & MARKETPLACE:
Over 70 exhibitors from local farms, businesses, and educational organizations sell their goods or share about their programs at this event. It is also the release of the 2019 Farm Fresh Atlas of Central Wisconsin!

WHY SUPPORT FARMSHED

We Believe: 1) Food should be grown in a sustainable manner 2) People should know how to buy, grow, harvest, preserve, and prepare local foods 3) The public should know local farmers 4) Farmers should know who eats their food
