Learn how to pressure can an assortment of vegetables and meats from certified Master Food Preserver Megan Wecker.
Megan is a certified Master Food Preserver through UW-Extension. After training, she started her Extension career as an AmeriCorps VISTA who preserved local produce for area food pantries. She had not done any food preservation before that point, and fell in love with the first jar. Since then, Megan has moved on to a different position within UW-Extension, but continues to volunteer her time and talent of food preservation in various counties and locations around the state. Come prepared: she truly appreciates stories concerning grandmas canner exploding and raining down green beans.
The fee for this workshop is $25 for Farmshed Members and $30 for Non-Members.
