Farmshed now offers Local Food Fundraisers, including:

General Giving Fundraiser provides a business/organization with our online e-commerce platform to raise funds for Farmshed’s food pantry work. This is a great option for employee giving events and available year-round.

​

Buy One, Give One Fundraiser This year-round option allows a fundraising group to choose a Farmshed Kitchen product, highlighting locally-sourced ingredients, and sell the product to your network as a fundraiser. The funds raised are distributed between the fundraising group, Farmshed, and a food pantry/community member. Up to 25% of each purchase is allocated to the fundraising group.

 

Buy One, Give One Menu Options Include:

 

• Two soup options with dietary accommodation optional
   

• Gourmet Mac and Cheeses: Italian Spinach, Classic Gooey, Mediterranean and meat lovers
   

• Cookie Doughs: Double Ginger featuring Tapped Maple Syrup's Ginger infused syrup, Classic Chocolate Chip, Old Fashion and Gluten free peanut butter
   

• Seasonal Meal for 2 (includes salad)

Local Food Tastes Great Fall Fundraiser is a local alternative to the traditional school fundraiser. Funds are raised money for the school/group by selling local food products. This program celebrates products made using locally sourced ingredients and that support for local producers and small businesses. The fundraiser also educates families about sustainable growing practices and our local food system. This fundraiser runs every Fall and is an ideal option for schools and groups. Participation sign ups close August 1st.

2021 Update:
Over the past year and a half, Farmshed has expanded how it serves our community. You may have seen the Rotary Club Chili Fundraiser, the UWSP Mac & Cheese Sale, and even the Buy One, Give One weekly soups and meals. The one program we haven’t updated yet is our Local Food Taste Great Fundraiser. Due to the unknowns of Covid and some much needed revamp time, we will not be hosting the Local Food Taste Great fundraiser this fall.

As we evaluate the Local Food Tastes Great Fundraiser and the viability it provides to the producers and Farmshed, watch for smaller fundraising events that Farmshed will have throughout the fall. These fundraisers are an easy way to continue supporting Farmshed and our local producers. We will continue to offer fundraising opportunities using our online platform to raise money for any cause or organization. Visit the Community Fundraising page on our website for details.
