To Our Supporters,

Winter is upon us once again, which brings us to reflect on our accomplishments of 2017 and plan our goals for the next year and beyond. It’s the work of this network and the belief in the cause that keeps the local food momentum growing in our community. Before we can launch another successful year of growing a resilient local food community, we need help meeting our end of year goals with the 2017 Winter Drive. Last year, during our first Winter Drive we were so grateful for the support that came with the campaign; together we raised over $11K!

This year, with the support of many, we proudly achieved printing of the biggest Central Wisconsin Farm Fresh Atlas to date, connecting community to and promoting 77 farmers, 38 farmers markets, 27 farm-to-fork and 32 like-minded businesses. We increased year-round economic opportunity for farmers at the Stevens Point Area Winter Farmers Market now hosting 23 vendors, and raised over $24K for local farms and producers via the Local Food Tastes Great Fundraiser with 11 participating schools and groups. See the bottom of this message for other great ways we have been impacting the local food community in 2017!

If you support the work that Farmshed does and want to support the continued growth of a local food community, donate today and help us spread the word! The Winter Drive is only open until December 31st. By supporting Farmshed, you will help this organization remain a vibrant, innovative part of the community that benefits farmers and local food producers.
